He was born in 1945 in Verino (Ourense), Spain. His real name is Manuel Roberto Marino and he is a Spanish fashion designer. He was studying Fine Arts and Business in Paris. Because of the family business he withdraws from the fashion scene until 1982, the year when his first women's 'ready to wear' collection – Roberto Verino – was presented. In 1992 Verino opens his first boutique in Paris and presents the first fragrance – Verino.
