Louis Féraud was a French fashion designer and artist. In 1950, Louis Féraud created his first "Maison de Couture" in Cannes and in 1955 established a couture house in Paris. He became widely known in the next decade and started dressing the Parisian elite and designed the wardrobe of Brigitte Bardot for many of her movies. His first haute couture collection was presented in 1958 in Paris. In 1970 a significant contract was signed – the one with Fink from Germany for a ladies' prêt-à-porter (ready-to-wear) collection.
